Discontent

The glass is empty that she fills
With her discontent
She swallows down her humble pie
She made to help her vent
She tries to understand the pain
She tries to chase it all in vain
There's nothing but herself left here to blame

I don't believe a thing she said
I don't believe a thing she did
But she never seems to realize
When the feeling's gone, she’s paralyzed
And through all the years, she can't decide
To stay and pray or walk away tonight

The glass is shattered, broken down
Spills out all her fears
She tries to sweep the pieces under
A carpet of her peers
She tries to stare upon the sun
She finds her life has come undone
Nothing but her selfish love to blame

I don't believe a thing she said
I don't believe a thing she did
But she never seems to realize
When the feeling's gone, she’s paralyzed
And through all the years, she can't decide
To stay and pray or walk away tonight
Tonight, she'll be with you tonight

I don't believe a thing she said
I don't believe a thing she did
Now everything seems quite upset
What the hell am I to do

But she never seems to realize
When the feeling's gone, she's paralyzed
Through all the years, she can't decide
To stay and pray or walk away tonight
Tonight, she'll be with you tonight

The glass empty that she fills
With the discontent
