Wayside are coming out of semi-retirement to appear on a radio show on Thursday, June 8th 2006.  They will be appearing on CITR 101.9FM for an hour sometime between 9pm and 11pm.  The band will be playing songs spanning their entire career and will be interviewed by CITR's Ben Lai.  So listen in if you want a trip down Wayside's memory lane and maybe a hint of what's in store for the future.

Garageband.com is a site that allows bands to upload songs to the website and have the songs reviewed. You must complete a certain number of reviews and maintain a good reviewer rating in order to be able to upload a song. Reviews tend to be honest as reviewers are rewarded for constructive feedback. Reviewer don't know who the band is that they are reviewing and are asked a series of questions to determine the position in the charts. Weak was good enough to get past the first and second round of reviews. Songs only get to the next round if they are ranked high on the charts based on reviewer reactions. Otherwise, they end up in the Back Catalogue. Weak is currently still on the charts sitting at #60 out of 19,828 songs in the Pop/Rock category. It can still move up or down as new reviews come in. It reached as high as #17 on September 5th 2003. Here are the details:

At approximately 11:35pm on July 1st 2003, Wayside's "The Only One" was featured on Indie Night in Canada on CFOX 99.3FM, hosted by Trace Ventura. We managed to record it while it was airing and we have put it on this website. Click on the link below to listen to it. Unfortunately the quality of the sound is not very good.
